Looms by windows are wonderful! I took over a largely unused dining room in one house we rented with large sweeping windows over looking a lake. It was such a beautiful place to go and weave. It was right off the kitchen so I could be on top of what ever was going on.
Now I have a view of trees and cedars...which is lovely. Deer, and squirrels visit... and being right next to the laundry room means I'm always up to date with that chore but not as much fun.
Damn, that is a sweet setup.
